Privacy Policy

Account details: your name, email address, phone number, password, profile photo, and whether you use Errands as a Tasker or a Gofer.

Identity verification details for Gofers: full legal name, NIN or BVN, date of birth, live photo, phone number, and payout bank account details. We mask identity numbers in the app. They are not shown to other users.

Errand details: task instructions, pickup and service addresses, location, budget, purchase money, photos and proof you upload, completion notes, and ratings.

Messages: chat messages, photos, and attachments you send during an errand.

Location: precise device location while a Gofer has an errand in progress and location sharing is on. Taskers may use their device location to set an errand address. That location fills the address field and is not tracked in the background.

Payment details: wallet balance, top-ups, withdrawals, transaction history, and payment references.

Technical data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, session and activity data, and push notification tokens.

Support details: messages you send to our support team.

Errands collects precise location from a Gofer's device only while the Gofer has an errand in progress and has turned on location sharing. The app shares that location with the Tasker on the errand so the Tasker can follow the Gofer's progress.

Background location keeps the position updating when the Gofer switches to another app or the screen is off. A persistent notification shows while sharing is on. Sharing stops when the errand ends or the Gofer stops it.

Errands uses information to create and secure accounts, verify identity, match Taskers and Gofers, run errands, enable chat and live location, process payments and payouts, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and misuse, provide support, and send service notifications.

We do not use personal data for advertising and we do not sell it.

With the other party on an errand: your name, profile photo, task details, chat messages, photos and proof, and live location while sharing is on.

With service providers that help us run the platform: payment processing, identity and bank account verification, address search, push notifications, email delivery, and hosting. They may process data outside Nigeria and are required to protect it.

With authorities when the law requires it, or to protect users and the platform.

We do not show your NIN, BVN, bank account number, or payment details to other users. We do not sell personal data.

We keep account and errand data while your account is active and for as long as needed to run the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or payment obligations.

When you request deletion, we deactivate the account immediately and complete deletion within 30 days. We delete your profile, contact details, identity documents, photos, addresses, messages, and location history. We keep payment, payout, dispute, and fraud records where the law requires it.

You can request deletion in the app or at errandanywork.com/delete-account.

You can also deactivate your account if you want to keep it for later. Deactivation blocks sign-in and lets you request reactivation.

We use HTTPS for data in transit, access controls, and secure storage for session tokens. No digital system can promise absolute security.

You can update your profile, deactivate your account, or request deletion. You can also ask for a copy or correction of your data, or object to certain uses, by emailing hello@iksf.ng.

You can stop location sharing by ending the errand or stopping sharing. You can control app permissions in your device settings.

Errands is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Errands may update this policy from time to time as the service evolves or legal requirements change. When that happens, the latest version posted on the site will apply going forward.
