Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the basic rules for using Errands as a Tasker, Gofer, or account holder. They are written to keep expectations clear, protect platform trust, and reduce avoidable confusion.
Last updated: May 1, 2026
Using Errands
Errands helps people post local tasks, track progress, and coordinate fulfillment with verified Gofers. By using the platform, you agree to use it responsibly and only for lawful, genuine requests.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account, posting a task, applying for work, or sharing delivery and payment details.
Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for activity that happens through your account. Keep your login details private and notify Errands if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Errands may limit, suspend, or remove access where there is fraud, misuse, unsafe conduct, false information, or repeated violations of platform rules.
Tasks, proposals, and fulfillment
Taskers are responsible for posting clear instructions, reasonable budgets, and accurate pickup or drop-off details. Gofers are responsible for only accepting work they can complete safely and honestly.
Errands may provide tools for proposals, updates, proof of completion, ratings, and dispute handling, but each user remains responsible for the information they submit and the commitments they make.
Payments and disputes
Payments made through the platform may be held until the task is confirmed complete according to the workflow presented in the app. Release timing can depend on verification, proof, or a reported issue.
If a dispute is raised, Errands may review available records such as status updates, uploaded proof, task instructions, timestamps, and communication history to help resolve the issue.
Acceptable use
You may not use Errands to post unlawful tasks, harass other users, upload harmful material, misrepresent identity, interfere with platform operations, or attempt to bypass safety, verification, or payment controls.
Errands may remove content or accounts that create legal, safety, operational, or reputational risk for the platform or its users.
Platform availability and limits
Errands works to keep the platform available and accurate, but access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, verification, payment review, or technical issues.
The service is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by law, Errands is not liable for indirect losses, missed opportunities, or issues caused by user-provided information, third-party services, or events outside reasonable control.
Updates to these terms
Errands may update these terms when the product, payment workflows, or legal requirements change. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
